Absolutely – my treatments will take into consideration the age of your scar and are adapted accordingly. Sometimes problems do not appear until years after the initial injury/scar and I have seen first-hand that improvements can still be made years later.

Scar therapy can start as soon as the scar has healed.

Scar therapy can start from 2 weeks following any Radiotherapy treatment. I will assess the maturity and stability of the scar during my assessment and adapt my treatment plan accordingly.

Yes, self-care advice is always discussed within my consultations, as it is important to be doing alongside treatments.
