Scar Therapy
Scar therapy uses gentle, non-invasive physical therapy to stimulate natural healing and remodel scar tissue on and below the skin's surface, which helps to improve the flexibility, discomfort, and appearance of scars.
The tailored approach includes specific massage techniques and self-care advice to help manage symptoms independently. The treatment is effective for various problematic scars including C-sections, mastectomies, abdominal surgeries, head and neck surgeries and on skin that has undergone radiotherapy treatment.
Therapy can begin once a scar has fully healed (typically around two weeks post-injury or surgery), and even older, mature scars can still benefit from the treatment. If you're unsure if the service is suitable for your specific condition, it is recommended to get in touch for a consultation
